Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus! God is working a miracle here in Daytona Beach and I would like to give you a report! During the summer of 2001, I had a sense that something terrible was going to happen. At the same time God spoke and asked me to do something special for Him! I went before my prayer partners and told them: "God has asked me to so something special but I will not tell you what He told me. Please pray and ask God to confirm His words to me." Though it looked like a mammoth task, God spoke to seven of my prayer partners and confirmed what He had told me.

Later that year at a prayer meeting in our home on August 19, 2001, God showed me a vision. It was a vision of several clocks on the wall with different messages written on them. One of the clocks had the following message:

"THERE IS ANOTHER CLOCK THAT BEARS A SYMBOL 'FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!' THE WORLD WILL GO THROUGH TURMOIL. THE WORLD WILL GO THROUGH CHAOS AND CONFUSION. SOME OF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT BUT IT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT WILL SHAKE THE HORIZONS. THE LOUDNESS OF ITS BOOM WILL BRING FORTH THE HOWLING CRY OF HUMAN BEINGS. IT IS THAT TIME; FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS GOD HAS BROUGHT YOU INTO A TIME OF HIS VISITATION. WHILE THE WORLD WILL GO THROUGH TURMOIL AND BE FILLED WITH FEAR AND FRUSTRATION, THERE IS GOING TO BE A VISITATION!"

One month later on September 11, 2001, the World Trade Center towers were destroyed. What was it that God told me to do? HE ASKED ME TO BUILD HIM A PRAYER CENTER WHICH WILL BE OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK AND 365 DAYS A YEAR! This was the very message that was confirmed by seven of my prayer partners!

Today, five years later, God has granted Bethel a piece of land, 3 acres in all, at the heart of the city of Daytona Beach. The acreage is directly across from the Daytona International Speedway where hundreds of thousands of people jam into the NASCAR stadium several times each year.

Very soon, there will be a 24/7 Prayer Center here in Daytona Beach. It will be an "Endowment for the Lord and for the Healing of the Nations!" It will not be a church but a place of prayer, open to all churches and open to all of God's people. It is my desire that the Prayer Center be built debt-free for the glory of God! Please stand with us in prayer for the completion of this sacred project.
