The Story of the Birth of Global Prayer Center!

 

"Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see;

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided

Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me!"

 

In August 2001 God spoke to John Jeyaseelan and confirmed through other prayer partners that a prayer center should be built in the Daytona Beach area. Over the next thirteen years through the travailing prayers of people in the community and all over the world, the Global Prayer Center opened in September 2014.

 

God’s command in II Chronicles 7:14 is: “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” This command belongs to God’s covenant people in the old and new testaments who humble themselves before God, who humble themselves and pray for healing.

 

Prayer is offered in the center for the healing, restoration and spiritual growth of people, businesses and community leaders in the Central Florida area.  Prayer gatherings are extended to people of all nations for the nations.

 

This building was made possible through the agreement and obedience to God’s spoken word, and a testament of God’s faithfulness of bringing the promise to fruition. The purpose of this place is that all those who seek help will not be turned away.  Everyone is ministered to by the love of Jesus Christ.
