Leap Forward with God!
2024 is a Leap Year! The following message is more of a prayer than a prophetic message. It is amazing to find in the Scriptures many places where God intervened, and God’s people leaped forward to a higher level than before.
Please read this message with prayer and meditate with me as we offer ourselves to God who alone will take us to a new level, His level, where we have never been before. May our lives be transformed by God in us in this new season!
“Lord, Let Your People Leap Forward with Your Blessings!”
Jacob’s words to his loved ones when the Lord God released him from Laban: “And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray spotted. Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Jacob.’ And I said, ‘Here I am.’ And He said, ‘Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you. I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me.” (Genesis 31:10-13).
Many of God’s children are under bondage and tyrannical rulership of evil leaders over them. Their blessings are either muzzled or stopped by wicked leaders. Let us not forget that Jacob had a covenant relationship with God and that he made a vow to God: “Then Jacob made a vow, saying, ‘If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me, I will surely give a tenth (tithe) to You’” (Genesis 28:20-22).
Jacob’s vow was a binding tie with God who gave him a dream in which he saw the rams leaping. Though the rams were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted, his status changed that day when God gave him the decisive and compelling dream. God broke the sting of poverty upon him and blessed him with an idea that made him rich. Jacob’s strong cattle multiplied whereas Laban was left with the weak cattle!
I pray God will give you breakthroughs in your life with His ideas that will lift you higher than your present level to be blessed with God’s abundance in your life. No matter the situation you are placed under, remember, that you have a covenant relationship with God. When God blesses you, your place and your surroundings change and no one can deny you of your blessings from God who watches over you.
“Lord, Remember Your People in This New Season and Let Your People Leap Forward to Your Breakthrough Blessings!”
“Lord, Let Us Leap Forward with Worship and Adoration!”
“Then David danced before the Lord with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod. So, David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. So, they brought the ark of the Lord and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. And when David had finished offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts” (II Samuel 6:13-18).
Uzzah mishandled the ark and died; Obed-Edom hosted the ark for three months and was blessed in his household. David saw all that and longed to bring the ark to Jerusalem. The wait was over, and David finally brought the ark to Jerusalem with Obed-Edom following the ark (because the ark transformed him). It was a joyous day for the King, David, who could not contain himself except to leap and dance before the Lord.
We are living in a world where some leaders (even the church leaders) are falling, and a few others are being blessed by the Lord tremendously. There are many of you waiting on the sidelines and observing what is going on. It is time for you to get in on the action to not hold back with your observation but to engage in worshipping the Lord fully. Forget where you are standing and what situation you are in. Dance before the Lord in worship and adoration for the Lord has intervened and answered your prayers and your wait is over! Take the mask off you and fully engage with your Lord God! I pray for God’s revival to touch people, especially the leaders of our land to be transformed by God to worship and adore Him as King David did.
“Lord, Prepare Me to be a Sanctuary to Leap Forward in Your Worship and Adoration. I adore You and bow down before You. Please touch and transform our leaders to know You and worship You!”
“Lord, Help Us to Leap Out of Our Wilderness to Blossom!”
The future glory of Zion: “The wilderness and the wasteland (desert) shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing…Strengthen the weak (sinking) hands, and make firm the feeble (stumbling) knees…Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert” (Isaiah 35:1-3, 5-6).
When the Lord changes the wilderness to blossom, the desert will rejoice, the weak hands will be strengthened, and the feeble and stumbling knees will be made strong. The lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb will start singing. Streams will flow in the desert.
Many of us (all of us) need this experience. Only God can change our wildernesses to blossom and bloom. In God, we will move and move strong by the power of His Holy Spirit. This means that we will experience something we have never experienced before with a stark contrast from where we had been to where God is bringing us. Suddenly, our deserts will experience unstoppable streams and we will run like a deer, run and not be weary, and walk and not faint!
“Lord, Change Our Wilderness to Blossom. Help us, Lord, to experience what we have never experienced before. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong,’ and the poor say, ‘I am rich,’ because our God intervened in our lives!”
“Lord, Let the Young Ones Leap and Rejoice in Our Godly Homes!”
“And it happened when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy’” (Luke 1:41-44).
Zachariah and Elizabeth feared God and lived right with God, but Elizabeth was barren. There was no singing nor joy in their home though they were wholly obedient to God. God changed all that when He sent His angel, Gabriel, to Zachariah to announce the birth of his son, John. The barren Elizabeth was pregnant for six months with Baby John when Mary (Mother of Jesus in her womb) walked into Elizabeth’s home. As soon as Baby John heard the righteous Mary’s voice, he leaped into his mother’s womb for joy!
There are so many righteous homes around the world that are lacking this joy. They have been keeping the commands of God and faithfully serving God but lacking the supernatural touch of joy only God can bring into their lives. I believe and pray for the impossible to happen in many homes in this new season when their mourning will turn into dancing and their sackcloth will be replaced by praise and worship toward our God who indeed will do the impossible in their homes.
A great lesson from the story of Baby John leaping into Elizabeth’s womb – Babies and little children are sensitive to the Holy Spirit and the voice of the righteous. I pray that our homes are filled with the voices, prayers, and worship of the righteous and our children are filled with joy by the power of the Holy Spirit.
“Lord, Let the Contemptuous Atmosphere in our Homes Be Replaced by The Voice of Righteousness, Songs of Peace, and Conversation of Your Holy Scriptures so That We can Rejoice and be Glad for the Lord has Done Great Things Among Us!”
“Lord, Let the Lame Leap Forward!”
“Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, ‘Look at us.’ So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, ‘Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.’ And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So, he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God” (Acts 3:1-9).
The lame jumped up joyfully and walked as Peter and John commanded him to be healed! I pray as we walk with God and be filled with God, let the power of God be manifested in and through us to make the blind see, lame walk, deaf hear, and souls receive God in this new season. The harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few. Let revival come and God be magnified in receiving a harvest worthy of His Name!
“Lord, Let the Lame Leap Forward. Let souls come into Your Kingdom!”
“Lord, Let Your Faithful Servants Leap and Soar Close to You!”
“Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; but those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired” (Isaiah 40:30-31, Amplified Bible).
Some godly servants and believers are growing tired but faithfully and diligently waiting on God. Satan is doing three jobs currently against godly people who are a severe threat to him and his works: 1) He has removed some of them from their walk with God; 2) He has attacked some of them so severely that God did not let them suffer but took them home; and, 3) He is attacking the rest of the godly people so ferociously that they quit on their own and walk away from their position.
It is for the rest of us who are waiting and praying that God will make us leap and soar!
We expect God!
We look for God!
We hope in God!
We shall change and renew our strength and power!
We will leap and soar close to God!
We shall run and be worn out!
We will walk and not faint!
Prayer
“Heavenly Father, I love You and adore You and bow down before You. I thank You, Lord, for the knowledge of saving me by Your grace and redeeming me by the blood of Your Son, Jesus. I thank You for life, strength, and joy throughout the last year and for bringing me into this New Year. I receive Your Word in my life, the Word that never changes, and the Word that transforms. Transform me, Lord, by the power of Your Holy Spirit to help me leap with joy with what You are doing in my life. Renew me, Father, to have a fresh and new anointing to worship and praise You, and experience new things in You that I have never experienced before. Lord, I offer my life to be a witness to bring souls into Your kingdom. In You, I live, breathe, walk, and have my being. I dedicate my life to You to be a living sacrifice. In the Most Precious and Wonderful Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen! Amen!!”
