THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT WITHIN!

The Words “God’s Breath, God’s Spirit, God’s Wind” all Represent the Holy Spirit, Ruach Ha Kadosh! A Believer is Endued with Power by the Same Spirit!

1) God’s Breath Created Man: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7).

2) God’s Wind Brought the Plague Inside Egypt and Took It Away: “So Moses stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind on the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts…And the Lord turned a very strong west wind, which took the locusts away and blew them into the Red Sea. There remained not one locust in all the territory of Egypt” (Exodus 10:13,19).

3) God’s Wind Divided the Red Sea: “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided” (Exodus 14:21).

4) God’s Spirit Upon Othniel: “The Spirit of the Lord came upon (Othniel), and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord delivered Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed over Cushan-Rishathaim” (Judges 3:10).

5) God’s Spirit Upon Gideon: “But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon; then he blew the trumpet, and the Abiezrites gathered behind him” (Judges 6:34).

6) God’s Spirit Upon Samson: “And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon (Samson), and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done…When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting against him. Then the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him; and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds (were melted) broke loose from his hands. He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand and took it, and killed a thousand men with it” (Judges 14:6; 15:14-15).

7) God’s Spirit Upon David: “Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So, Samuel arose and went to Ramah” (I Samuel 16:13).

8) God’s Spirit Assembled the Dry Bones and Brought Life to a Dead Army: “Also He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath (breath of life), ‘Thus says the Lord God: ‘Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.’’ ’ So, I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath (breath of life) came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (Ezekiel 37:10).

9) The Spirit of God came down upon the Believers on the Day of Pentecost: “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues (tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each), as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:1-4).

10) The Same Power that Raised Christ from the Dead is ALIVE in a BELIEVER: “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11).

Prayer

“Heavenly Father, You Are All Seeing, All Knowing, and All Powerful! How Blessed I am to know You, and know You through Your Power of the Holy Spirit Resident in Me. I am Yours, O Lord. In Your Mighty and Holy Name, Amen!”
