The World in Turmoil! “First, they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.” —Martin Niemöller, (1892-1984), was a Prominent Lutheran Pastor in Germany.

All Attacks Are Not Local But GLOBAL! Matthew 24:7: “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” Israel is under attack but know that all attacks are global! First, it was the Ukraine, now it is Israel, and in the future, it will be America from all sides and the recovery will not be immediate. Jesus’ warning of nation against nation is not local but global and we are witnessing it for the first time in our lifetime! A Strong Alignment of Nations! Joel 3:14: “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.” Nations are not any more mincing words as to who they are supporting. There is a strong alliance of Russia, Iran, and China. There is a weaker alliance of the NATO nations. No one could stop the invasion of Russia against Ukraine and so will none stop the future invasion of Taiwan and other nations. The alignment of nations pro and against Israel is never more defined than now. Weakening Through Diversions! Numbers 32:11-12: “Surely none of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and above, shall see the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob because they have not wholly followed Me, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have wholly followed the Lord.” Samson had diversions! He lost his status, position, anointing, and favor till God rescued him one last time! The Israelites had diversions! Slavery could not get out of them even though God delivered them from slavery. Only Caleb and Joshua whole-heartedly followed God and they made it into the Promised Land! America’s Diversions: · A porous border that brought in millions without checks! · A depleted and weak military subjected to woke ideology! · Weakened cities with a recall of the police forces! · An unsolved insurmountable debt crisis looming over America! All these diversions came about over the course of time and not instantly. There has been a slow eroding of all the values that are dear and near according to the principles of the Bible. We have departed so much from God. We are so weakened and divided that no leader in the nation is calling upon or pleading with God anymore. The churches are divided with wrong focuses and the homes are destroyed with diversions. We are majoring in the minors more than majoring in the majors. Division in the Families, Churches, and Nations! Matthew 24:10: “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.” The offense is rooted in the division of families, churches, and communities in our nation. We are split right down the middle 50/50 in our homes, churches, communities, and the nation. Only God Almighty can restore us. We need Revival and Restoration from God. Threshold is Being Breached! When the wicked men of Sodom and Gomorrah came after Lot and his family, they pressed against the threshold of Lot’s house with violence on their minds, but the angels stopped them at the door with blindness. Genesis 19:4, 9-11: “Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house…So they pressed hard against the man Lot and came near to break down the door. But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them and shut the door. And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great so that they became weary trying to find the door.” Verses 9-11 remind us of the breach of September 11, 2001, against a strong nation called the US. We were stronger then and yet breached. We are weaker now with wrong focuses, diversions, divisions, hatred, bitterness, envy, poverty, and a decline in moral values. I am not a doom and gloom messenger of God but we are so vulnerable and predictable to the enemies to come against us at any time. What is common between Israel and the US now? Both borders have been breached, one (Israel) unknowingly with intelligence failure and the other (US) knowingly with millions of people unchecked coming through the southern borders. What Must We Believers Do? 1) Stand United for God in Your Home: “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River (The Euphrates) or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). The time has come for you not to mince words but to stand strong with your dedication to God. Separate your whole family to God with your own love and dedication to God. 2) Align Yourself Completely with God: “And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). A businessman who lost everything including his business license a few years ago called me recently with the good news that his business license was restored to him. Before he lost everything, I advised him to be very careful to avoid certain pitfalls, but he did not. Now after regaining his license, he told me: “Brother John, I heard from God who told me, ‘No more living partially with God and living the rest in the world. No more following the world more than following God’s Word.’ I want to give you my word that I will align myself completely with God.” I applauded his dedication. Even though he lost a few years, I stayed with him in prayer and God has miraculously answered both of our prayers in restoring him. We must seek God wholeheartedly and follow Him fully. 3) No Diversions but Focus Wholly on God and His Word: “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:20-23). Prioritize to read, meditate, and obey the Word of God and be the very first to show up to the meetings where the Spirit of God moves. Or bring the Spirit of God and the awakening with you to the meetings where God can move mightily with your dedication and consecration to Him. 4) Seek Love and Not Division: “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). A sister in the Lord had a conversation recently when she told us: “I am praying for God to restore my love and devotion to Him. I have been tarnished by paying so much attention to the lawlessness and disasters going on that I have become a little dry with my love and trust for God. Please pray for me.” Pray to God to restore your true love for Him and your faith in Him. Don’t be saturated with the 24-hour news cycle which gives you no hope but frustration and fear. 5) Protect Your Borders: Job prayed daily for his family: “So it was, when the days of feasting had run (the children’s) course, that Job would send and sanctify (consecrate) them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, ‘It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.’ Thus, Job did regularly… (Satan told God) ‘Have You not made a hedge around him (protected), around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land’” (Job 1:5, 10). The hedge of safety God provided Job was due to his uprightness and prayer for his whole family every day. Our walk with God with diligence and prayer provides a hedge of safety for our loved ones: “In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death” (Proverbs 14:26-27).

Prayer “Heavenly Father, I love You and adore You and bow down before You. I thank You, Lord, for the knowledge of knowing You and receiving You in my life. I thank You for Your holy Word that speaks to me by warning me of the present times I am living in. Even though the enemy may threaten me from all sides, I know that my God will lift a standard against him to preserve me and protect me to continue my walk with You and represent You to my surroundings. I pledge to You, Lord, that I and my house will love and serve the Lord. Thank You, Father, for protecting us under the blood of Christ. Help me to stand in Your holy presence and receive Your Word and guidance in this critical hour. In the Most Precious and Wonderful Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen! Amen!!” __________________________________________________________________________________________
